I just found out this fantastic site.
I would not really have enough free time to run it properly, but I would like to contribute and, most of all, I would like to work effectively towards the goal that motivated the creation of this site (but I guess that is another story).

Hallo Seosaidh,

the site is indeed rather inactive nowadays (but of course feel free to contribute to it :) ). What do you mean by "claiming a country"?

Best regards,
thevisitor

Greetings! I see there's not too much activity here, but this site is well done and very interesting.

I am very interested in having a dialogue with someone about claiming a country. If that's you, you can email me.

Cool! Then I suggest you create yourself a permanent user account here, and contribute/extend/fix up the page wherever you consider it necessary. Looking forward to see it grow!

Well, I'd like to apply. :3

In a word: Yes.

To quote from the other website:

Being a wiki means anyone can already edit it, what I'm offering is the full administrator access and bragging rights, for what it's worth. :)

This offer is not time-limited. Anyone can apply, if they demonstrate the following qualities:
- interest in the topic, best demonstrated by contributing to it
- writing evenly even about the crazier ideas out there, even from folks you disagree with
- the ability to write with few typos (sorry, a pet peeve)

The wiki is about ideas. It is not intended for the benefit of any micronation (or group thereof), nor should be any excluded as a resource - it doesn't matter where the ideas come from, as long as they are relevant.

Have a nice day.

This website still available?

by Bailey (guest), 14 Aug 2011 03:21

As advertised in other venues, this website is now available for adoption by someone more interested in running it. I have enjoyed setting it up and making it grow, but have now moved to other pastures.

Of course, as a wiki, it is open to everyone's contributions. If someone were to prove their interest in the topic (see also the post above for 'requirements'), I'm willing to give up the administration rights. Contact me here, or in the website above (it might take some time for me to answer, so have patience). Hope the website will attract some creative attention!

Have a nice day,
visitor

As it seems Wikidot is eager to start displaying ads on its wikis, that were so far free (http://www.wikidot.com/forum/t-132865/testing-ads-on-free-sites), I have signed up for AdSense, but didn't set up any ads to show up.

If anybody wishes to support Wikidot, please donate.

The content of this page may be great in my immodest opinion, but it is rarely updated. I have added a little declaration on the main page; it's best to send people where the action is.

A forum was started to keep track of any user comments and opinions. Have fun with it!

phpbber.com, the host for the forums of the Liberty Island, is down once again. I fear it might kill the community for good. They were active for a while.

Another note: have been hit by work, and hit hard. The project shall rest for a while.

Just a note that the map was finally fixed. Someday I should update its contents as well. :)
