Kure Atoll

An outlying atoll with a small area, it has a large lagoon. Last claimants appear to be Hawai and the US. It receives occasional visits, mainly from radio amateurs. Kure is located in the middle of a major current which constantly washes up debris such as fishing nets and large numbers of cigarette lighters on the island. (Source.)
Potential:
It could be expanded, and, especially the more ecologically oriented groups could find here a good excuse to stay. There seems to be no water source.
